Brighton was an eccentric young man of Shimmer City, the capital of Khymeria. He was always seen as a strange character among the Khymian summoners. In the best times, his peers thought he was simply a distraction from their important studies. In the worst times, his fellow summoners doubted and belittled Brighton’s abilities. They were also put off by the way birds always landed on his hands and shoulders. After just two years studying at the Shimmer summoning school, Brighton decided to leave Khymeria. His loyalty was available to the highest bidder, and that is where the Dragons came in.
Hi, welcome back again to my entry post for @splinterlands weekly battle challenge. This week we have a dragons theme for the battle challenge, however I want to make a little detour. Instead of dragon monsters, I will share a battle using a dragon summoner, the Brighton Bloom, a rare rarity dragon element summoner from Dice pack. Let's see our battle, shall we?
When an EarthQuake ruleset is applied, people usually have 3 conditions that they aim which change their original plan:
If you don't like those 3, then try using Brighton Bloom as your summoners, he gives every monsters flying abilities and this negates Earthquake ruleset effect.
So here is my plan:
| Position | Card | Ability | Plan and Strategy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summoner | Brighton Bloom | Flying Abilities to all | The goal simple, get everyone flying to make Earthquake Ruleset effect annuled |
| Main Tank | Torhilo the Frozen | Void | I think Torhilo is the best tank available. It has high armor, high health and Void Ability to withstand magic attacks. |
| Second | Djin Oshannus | Void | This is my secondary tank, incase Torhilo gets killed fast. Same as Torhillo, Void becomes my main preference, because of Healed Out Ruleset, usually people will go with magic attacks to by pass Armor. |
| Third | Deep Lurker | Opportunity | This is killing power in my team. 3 melee attacks with opportunity, it will seek out opponent healers and magician by passing main tank. |
| Fourth | Venari Wavesmith | Protect | One of a great support magician, old players know how good it was in the old days |
| Fifth | Merdaali Guardian | none | actually this is a flop in my formation, I forget about the Healing Out Ruleset. Should have picked Pelacor Bandit instead of her. |
| Last | Sand Worm | Sneak | My favorite sneak attacker, a true backstabber with 5 melee damage |

It is a Water-dragons vs Earth Element battle. We can see opponent strategy is to get Kron activates the Last Stand Ability, but as silly forgetful as I am bringing Merdaali Guardian, I think he forgets too without healing ability it's kinda useless later.
Unicorn Mustang, as one of the best tank, performs very well and maybe without Earthquake rulesets, I won't win against that horse...
The Key Winning Point are:
I think almost all dragon summoners are special, for example this Brighton Bloom, he can negate Earthquake ruleset. I always bring level 1 to level 3 brighton bloom in Silver League incase I meet that ruleset. I do not bring higher or maximum level because the rent rate for this summoner is not cheap.
The PROs are:
The CONs are:
