Last week I went to Cinema to see a movie. I came with a close friend who I met from some dating app. Let say we were in the friend zone at the moment, or maybe for forever lol.
The problem I had that day was I did not get enough sleep the night before. I had been and I still have been in a heavy load works, I have some project in kicking off phase. So there are plenty of small things coming in and no matter how fast we solve them, new problems will keep appearing. It is the nature of a project, especially if you have two crash projects that need to be settled soon regardless anything including things that not making any sense.
So with my condition that was very cloudy, not sleepy enough because I could drive and walked there, but I knew I would not be able to pay attention to the movie properly, I came to their refreshment stall. I saw that standing banner there.
Grapefruit Coffee, only at 45.000 rupiah. That was around 2.5 USD, it might be cheap for some place in another side of the globe, but for me here... It was not cheap at all, but it was still far from expensive anyway. I could snuck in a can of coffee from outside, but I preferred to buy from them anyway. Let say I wanted to be a good guy that time.
So I asked the cashier if they had another flavor other than Grapefruit... Well they had, and I picked the Avocado one.
Ok this was my Avocado coffee. I was curious why it looked like that. My friend laughed at me, saying she thought I was sleepy then why I bought that Matcha. Well indeed it was a Matcha looked a like one.
and you see, there was a grass jelly inside the cup. I did not ask it, they just gave it in there. I wanted a coffee, an avocado coffee, but they gave me this bobba cup with a bubble tea package...
Ok here was the deal, I had something off and something good from this drink. That's why I think I should share this one here. Let's start the good thing, despite that grass jelly ruined the look and the taste a bit, the drink was still excellent. I mean the avocado, the espresso shot, and the milk they put in and mixed there, it worked well.
It managed to get me a bit light up, awakening my cloudy sleepy brain. I could watch the movie properly....

I paid the bill using QRIS, it stands for Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard. To put this simple, it is a barcode based payment system that read QR code and you pay the bill by entering your pin. I did not pay attention about the price, just pay that bill.
After the movie ended and I threw off all the ticked and bills, I realized that the drink was not 45.000 rupiah, it was 75.000 rupiah... Instead of paying 2.5 USD, I paid 4.2 USD. I felt like I just got scammed.
I asked the counter why the price differed so much, they said that Grapefruit was on a price cut, but the other flavor were not. I thought different flavor would not had different price, even if they did, it would not be far more expensive.
I was wrong then.. First i was wrong that I did not ask the price first, and second, I was wrong that different flavor could double the price lol... If I knew it would cost me that much, I would not even bother to buy it.
Well, I am a stingy person anyway lol... some people might fell disgusted reading how stingy I am.
