Hi all, this is my first entry for any Splinterlands Art Contest. Yesterday I saw this post, Splinterlands Fan Art Emote Contest! , there was a paragraph that took my interest to try participating that contest. This was the paragraph:

To participate, simply create a Splinterlands-inspired Emote that's recognizable at 16x16 pixels. Your Emote could be either stationary or animated; we will leave that part up to you. Then submit your entry by following the instructions in the: "Rules For Submission" section of this post.

16 x 16 pixel, this sounded interesting. I am far from good in drawing and art, but making pixel is a different. So Here is my entry now.

FLYING SQUID

I like water Element, specially the blind and return fire ability that Lir Deepswimmer the summoner gives to his team. If I don't use Lir, I usually use Flying Squid because it has the same Blind Ability.

I can't use Photoshop, Corel Draw, Cad, or others. I am an engineer so I know
spread sheet although it's not meant for drawing. So I took Squid image from it's lore page and redrew it in 16x16 boxes. 16x16 pixel is very small, I think I need to get a similar colorization in order to make people who play Splinterlands can call it quickly "oh that's the squid from chaos legion set"

After the first squid is drawn, I make the 2nd and 3rd with different head and tentacle position. I want to make more variation but I know in 16x16 pixel size we can not make much different.

I use EZ GIF to process these 3 images into an animated gif.

This is the result:

and this is the final Emoji 16x16

Thank you. I hope you like it
