Devil Gundam: Thigh Scratch Building [Leg Modification - Part 11]

Hi guys!

Today I will make the other thigh for the Devil Gundam and start prep work for the connector between thigh and waist. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam for today.

I've cut the pla plates for the other thigh. Next, I will get these two pieces ready before doing any further modifications to it.

I will do the adjustment later. For now, I won't connect these pla plates like the other one because I will need to think of how can I embed the connector into the thigh itself.

I will at least do some cleaning up on the edges of these pla plates so I can modify it anytime later when the time is right.

As usual I used file only since I will cement the edges with another pla plates. I need to get the surface at least nice and even in order for the cement to make a strong bond later.

I've trimmed the part I want from this upper leg. The idea is to make a new connector from this part.

Then embed the connector into the thigh permanently since I want them to have a strong bond.

I will further trim the edges as much as I can in order to minimize the size of the connector that will be embedded into the thigh.

Since pla plates for the thigh have already been cut and prep for further modification. I'd rather adjust this connector than redo the pla plates that will make the thigh

As you can see the connector is slightly bigger than the actual thigh. I will think of away to modify / adjust this later.

For now I will keep working on this plan since I don't like wasting pla plates. Tomorrow I will trim the holder for this connector and start making the connector before embedding it into the thigh.
