Devil Gundam: Making Piston [Leg Modification - Part 22]

Hi guys!

Today I will try a different method for making this piston since the copies I made yesterday weren't properly align. I will explain as best as I can bellow. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!

The method is rather simple. All I'm going to do is cement the pla plate bellow the master copy.

Then once the cement has cured I will drill through the holes where the rods are going to go.

While waiting for the cement to dry I started preparing the rods.

I used a Devil Gundam runer for this since this the original plastic type. So in a sense the same type of plastic that was produced by bandai.

And because this is the thinest between Neue Ziel and Devil Gundam runer.

Preparing is very straight forward. I trimmed the rough edges using hobby knife.

Then filed each one using file. For the mid section I used a sanding sponge to get the surface nice and smooth.

I've made a mark using scribing pen so tomorrow when the cement has cured properly overnight I can drill though the 3 holes.

And do a test fit with the rods I've prepared earlier.

So this is my updates for today on this Devil Gundam x Neue Ziel Project.
