Devil Gundam: Detailing Scratch Build Knee [Leg Modification - Part 62]

Hi guys!

Today I will continue on detailing the knee with custom panel lines and some pla plates. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!

First, I start with making a copy of this pla plate since I want to break the monotonous flat surface on the side of the knee.

And while doing that I have accounted that the width will fit the bottom leg. If you think about it these pla plates are 1 mm each so I'm adding 2 mm to the bottom side of the knee.

Which will affect the size of the connector between knee and bottom leg later.

I add custom panel lines to the sides of the knee which incorporate the pla plates. Also, I try adding a really small pla plate on the top of the knee and just cement it in place. Trimming off this pla plate turns out to be really hard to do but it looks pretty good right now.

Before adding more details to the knee I will let the cement on the small pla plate cure overnight first.

Next I will add some more pla plates on top of the knee before adding the final custom panel lines.

And I think that much detail should be enough for the knee. And so this is my updates for today on this Devil Gundam x Neue Ziel Project.
