Hello, friends!

Yesterday was a tiring day for both mom and myself, i was not working yesterday because i needed to accompany mom to go to three hospitals in a day. Maybe you asked me, why could it be? Yes these happened and i would like to share to you how could it be plus what we felt after this hectic day.

Our journey had began since morning. In the morning mom first needed to go to the hospital where mom will get her cataract operation next Monday. We needed to go there because to get the operation, beside thorax rontgent, heart check and also common laboratorium blood check up include the blood glucose which mom already passed through, since the pandemic, the hospital would also need negative PCR result.

Here was a photo of mom when she was in the laboratorium and a staff took her blood for the blood check up before.

In the morning we took a number at the hospital front desk then we went to the laboratorium. After waiting for more than 30 minutes then the staff called mom's name then gave us a receipt and she asked us to go to the PCR swab stall at front of their gate. Oh well, we didn't know that the test would take place outdoor. After that we needed to wait for a couple of minutes before a staff came to do the PCR test.

Here was mom when the staff took her sample to PCR test. First the officer took the sample from mom's nose. Then she also needed to take the sampling of mom's mucus from her throat.

Mom said it actually didn't make her uncomfortable at all because it was only not even a minute, the staff seemed professional so it held well, not made mom sick like many had told us before. So it was successed and we would get the result in 24 hours... we couldn't wait for the result because it took too many time right 24 hours and we already asked her could we get the result on monday before mom get her operation, gladly she said yes.

Then we had to pay for the test in the cashier before we continued the journey to the center health care because recently mom had fallen and until today her right foot was still sick and still a bit swollen until now. No wonder because she had fallen just in a foot, her body all depended on that foot.

Here how her foot was after the accident

Now it's still a bit swollen and sick.

After had finished from the first hospital we went to a center health care, a smaller hospital one. There mom then needed to get a small blood check up, small because weirdly the doctor wanted to know whether any kidney condition or not with mom (only because of the swollen foot although we also already had told him that mom had fallen).

Ok, after waiting for around 20-30 minutes mom needed to go to the small laboratorium there alone. Unfortunately, the result would be only ready at 1pm, so we decided not to waiting there and went to the nearest plaza to have lunch first. While we had our lunch, i contacted mom's internist to tell him about what was going on, about we went to the health center because mom's foot still swollen and then i made sure about his schedule in the hospital today because i was worried about mom's foot and then how if we come there so he could check mom's foot plus the hospital was bigger than the health center that the hospital could have facility to x-ray mom's foot. So then i made the appointment with him to meet him this afternoon. Got it but we needed to meet him only until 4 pm..

After the lunch we hurried went back to take mom's blood result.. unfortunately, the patients there were too many, so we only took mom's blood check up result then went to the last hospital where she would meet her internist.

Luckily we made it, we could reach the hospital at around 1.30 pm. The patients there were so many too so we needed to wait more than 2 hours just to meet her internist. The internist thought her foot was okay but to make sure he asked mom to get the rontgent too and of course he gave the prescription and some medicine too. Fortunately, for mom's blood check up, the result were all great, for her glucose and also kidney functions, all were fine.

After that, we went to the 3rd floor where mom got her rontgent. We needed to give the rontgent form from the doctor to the staff there and i was waiting outside the rontgent room.

Not a long time it was finished and then mom and i took the medicine to the pharmacy on the 2nd floor.

When we were finished all it was 4 pm something and the weather was bad. There was a big rain and also big wind, kind of storm that afternoon.

I then put the rain coat on mom's so that she wouldn't get wet under the umbrella to reach the car.

Even so, mom was a bit wet after we reached the car. Her hair was a bit dumped as you could see in this picture.

After this hectic day finally we reached home safely, and also we had the dinner at home then we were sleeping for several minutes just to recharge some of our energy back. How about you, how was your day? I hope you are all healthy always..
