Hello, friends especially DIY ers!

Sunday is always craft day for me. Like last sunday, i made this cute egg hunting rabbit pop up card at home. So cute yet easy to make. And now i would like to share to you all how i made it.

Project Time: approximately 2-3 hours

Difficulty: easy

Materials & Things needed:

  • thick green paper as the card base
  • A5 blue and green construction paper
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • zig zag scissors
  • color markers
  • pencil colors in pink, soft pink and soft grey
  • origami papers
  • drawing paper
  • thick unused paper (for the eggs pattern)

How to make it:

First i started to measure my thick green paper, as same as the blue construction paper width. Then i made the line and cut the rest out. Folded it in the middle. Then made two lines which separated 5 cm each other in the middle.

After that, i cut the two lines. Folded it like below then cut the blue paper like i did below.

Pasted the blue paper on the green thick paper. Just like this. Then, i prepared the green grass. The size of it was 9 cm width and 5.5 cm height each.

Did the same for the grass until i got 4 grass with 2 different green colors. For your information, the first two i used green construction paper and the other two i used double sided green color origami paper. Then i made the fringe for two grass while the other two, i cut the top of them with the zig zag scissors i had.

After that, i drew the bunny on the drawing paper. Cut it off then i drew the eyes with black marker. Nose and mouth with pink marker then color inside the nose with soft pink color pencil. Then, for the area inside the ear, i used pink marker first for the border then inside, i colored them with pink color pencil.

After that i drew the whiskers with grey color pencil then folded and then pasted the grass on the card like below.

Last, i drew the egg on the unused paper as the pattern i already made from unused paper. Then i copied them on origami papers then decorated them with the color markers like below.

After that, i pasted them to the card and voila, the cute pop up card is finished. Isn't it cute?
