Last week i had a request from a friend who asked me to draw a cartoon of herself doing her job, what she loved the most, chef. I promised her to finish it this weekend and i would like to share to you all how i made it.
Material & things needed:
a drawing paper
a 2B pencil
an eraser
0.2 drawing pen
36 colour pencils
How to draw & colour it:
First, I started from her face with the glasses, then to the hair and also chef's hat. Then i go to the body with her hand held the spatula and the other hand hold the pan. Then complete the pan and also some food on it.
After that, i completed it with the stove and a desk below it. Finished, so i bold with the drawing pen then I erase the pencil sketch.
Last, colour with the colour pencil. I made pattern for her appron (bubbles), stripes for her shirt and also checkers for the mat of the desk.
I hope you enjoy the process. It was enjoyable for me to make a cartoon version of someone.
