Hello, friends especially needleworkers!

On my free time I usually make some crafts like what I did recently. Easter is nearby so I got an idea to make a finger puppet bunny from felt which was cute and easy to make. Here I would like to share to you all how I made it.

Project Time: approximately 5 hours

Difficulty: Medium

Skills Needed:

• French knots
• Running stitch
• Blanket stitch

Materials & Things Needed:

• Felt fabrics in white, pink and green
• Unused paper
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Water erasable pen
• Sewing needle
• Embroidery floss in black, white, and pink
• Dacron

How I made it:

1ST

I drew the bunny on the unused paper, then cut it off. I used it as the pattern, then I copied transfer it to the pink and the green felt. Then I cut them off.

2ND

I did the same on the white felt then cut them off. So I got 4 bunnies now, two in white, one in pink and one in green. Then for the eyes on both sides, I made the French knots on both of the white felt bunny.

3RD

After that I joined all colors of the bunny with the running stitch around. I separated thet two long ears so on each you could see that it had the shadow of pink and also green color. Then I left the back bottom part.

4TH

After that, I cut the tail part like below, copied it to the white fabric. Then, I blanket stitched around, left the uncurly part to be joined to the bunny’s back.

5TH

Next I put the Dacron inside the tail then joined it to the back of the bunny also with the running stitch.

6TH

To make the nose I used the pink floss like below.

7TH

Last thing to make were the whiskers which I almost forgot. Used the white floss, I made it through the face part then knotted the two sides. Last thing I did was trimming them.

Then voila, this cute bunny finger puppet is finished. Isn’t it cute?
