One of the easiest way to save backups is through synchronization. This saves only files, for example no boot sector or FAT data. A crashed hard disk can not be recovered from such a backup, but for retrieving data the method is ideal because every folder is accessible as in the original state. One of the best programs to synchronize is FreeFileSync. With this program you copy a selection of files and folders to another disk or to storage in the cloud.
