Tik-tok is one of the app that has managed to be on every device of the teenagers in the world. Like most of the people are using it even more than the youtube. And the way it is working these days it seems like a lot of content is being manipulated.
So it was kind of obvious that the people around the world would be banning such app as it was directing the social threat all the way from the china. So here's my view on the ban.
Apps like tiktok pay the teenagers and the jobless people some money for creating content. All they have to do is bring traffic. And that was one of the reasons a lot of people managed to be on it. And there were tons of people opening new accounts and doing experiments.
Lot of such content also existed on the youtube too. However it was easy to stop some disinformation from the china over there. However the way tiktok works it favored the people who ran their campaigns.
China seems to be in control of many narratives and we have to learn to make the amends with the fact of those. I think there are valid reasons for blanket ban because china and their companies are not going to be listening at all on that front.
A lot of political narratives are either run by the UK and US based brands and the Soros sponsored groups. But the thing is that china seems to have worked very hard to beat them. And that has made many of such campaigns useless.
As you can guess that some of such campaigns have kind of made things possible to be manipulated and also change the narrative and history of the world. And it was painted differently. Kind of like kept every nation under control of US and UK. And that changes.
So it is kind of obvious that China was going to get the axe for the work that they are doing. And some of the changes that they have noticed with their work it was going to invite the blanket ban eventually. I am surprised still the nations are not yet ready on that complete ban.
Let's hope that some sense prevails and people avoid Tiktok because we can't risk our privacy and let the youth to fall into the hands of the disinformation.
