The Steal Eggs game—often known in physical education and camp settings as "Rob the Nest"—is an energetic, fast-paced team game that combines elements of relay racing, strategy, and capture-the-flag.

Typically played outdoors or in a gymnasium, the game divides participants into equal teams (usually four to six players per group). Each team is assigned a home base or "nest" positioned in a circle around a central area. In the middle of the playing field lies a large pile of objects representing eggs, such as beanbags, tennis balls, or plastic Easter eggs.

The objective is simple: accumulate as many eggs as possible in your team's nest. On the signal to start, one player from each team sprints to the center, grabs a single egg, and brings it back to their base. Players can take eggs from the central pile, but once those run out, they are allowed to raid the nests of opposing teams.

Tactics quickly shift from gathering to defending. Teams often assign a guard to protect their accumulated eggs from rival thieves. The game continues for a set time limit, after which the team with the highest number of eggs wins.
