Good Morning!
The concept was to fuse the Zeta Gundam with either the actual pilot or Deku (the client uses this as his current logo in his Instagram and YouTube accounts). So I talked with DaJemmen to figure out how we're gonna make his logo.
I sent this to him as a sketch and he said yes to it.
On Ibis Paint, I was lazy so I just used some roughly drafted guidelines to help me make the shapes for the helmet. No worries because I refined these later with better and more accurate guidelines.
This is the final line art I would use to make the helmet and facemask for Deku and complete the client's logo.

I also needed to remake Deku's face before I can send this to DaJemmen because the photo he asked me to use is too small in size (only half of the size the helmet is) so it's a bit pixelated.
Here's a quick look at the final look of the face, mask, and a draft of the helmet. As you can see, the cylindrical things near the eyes/ears are not colored in yet. Also, the camera at the top of the head isn't finished. Deku's shirt hasn't been remade yet.
Here's a look after I finished making the helmet for him. I've added design to the camera at the top in blue, changed the shading for the Vfin (the yellow one), colored in the metal-like cylinders, and added some more shading on the white parts and the outlines of the helmet.
I asked the client to choose between these 3 letter Js I made mimicking the design of the letter Z on the Zeta Gundam's forehead.
So, the client chose the letter J at the top but requested for me to lose the little fin at the end because it makes it look like a flipped letter G.
I used a combination of 3 softwares for this logo request:
- Ibis Paint X on my cellphone
- Adobe Illustrator for tuning the lineart
- Adobe Photoshop for coloring and detailing

Here's the final product that I sent to DaJemmen along with different variations of it. I also threw in a simple poster/banner design for him as a freebie for trusting me to make this logo for him.
I have added a few things here and there vs the draft you saw earlier. Some are: the decals (word stickers) on the helmet, the completed semi-bust, the strap for the facemask, and added hair around the face to emphasize having a helmet worn over Deku's fluffy hair.
One of the variation I sent to him was this version of the logo having Deku wear the facemask on his actual face and not just around the neck.
I also threw in 3 variations edit of his logo in 8Bit style, it's just a simple edit/trick I do in Photoshop, here's one of it:
