Personally I think the CBDC will force a large number of people to become familiar with cryptocurrencies which will in turn help decentralized cryptocurrencies go mainstream.
Almost half or more of the world's countries are controlled by corrupt politicians and unstable governments. The currencies of these countries will never be stable for a long time to come. When countries start introducing CBDC, the citizens' of these countries would prefer to deal with decentralized cryptos rather than their own CBDCs for reasons of security.
