image.pngimage.pngimage.png

Hello to all the Hive community, I want to share with you how it has been for me what it has meant to have a dog at home again after our Basset hound named Cindy left this physical plane, after twelve years my niece decided to adopt a mongrel puppy that had been picked up from a dumpster with her four siblings.

Image.png

The rescuers had already located most of the pups, which were males, only the female was missing, but they had no hope of finding her home because they already had experienced that few people love bitches, so they were thinking of sacrificing her since they could not keep her in their apartment.

Image.pngimage.png

Fortunately, my niece found out just in time and was able to save her, that's how Camil came into our life at only two months old, which meant we had to be patient until she learned to live with her new herd.

The first challenge, and I think one of the most difficult, was to get her to learn to relieve herself in one place. Perhaps because Cindy came to us when she was two years old and already had a routine for doing her business, I didn't remember this aspect being so hard.

Image.png

During this his first year of living with us; Camil destroyed plants, headphones, socks, and cushions, and scratched the legs of the dining room chairs, in short, he committed several damages, a product of his puppy stage.

Image.png

His destruction has been compensated by the affection that he gives us daily. She likes to play with plastic jars, and she always challenges me to take them out of her mouth, sometimes I succeed and other times she gives in because she knows that if she doesn't, I won't continue playing with her.

Image.png

We teach her to play hide and seek, an activity she enjoys very much because she is a very energetic and tireless dog, she also loves to go to the park where she feels free to dig in the dirt and sniff.

image.pngimage.pngimage.png

When he was about six and seven months old he used to run and climb on top of one of us in search of protection, or else he would hide between our legs, because the noise that the toilet truck makes scared him, but he doesn't do it anymore, I think he has adapted to hear this kind of annoying sound.

image.pngImage.png

Camil has a friendly personality, she likes to be petted, especially her tummy, but we have to teach her not to be so effusive, this behavior is an inconvenience when we receive visitors at home we are just starting with the education of our new pet.
