Here we go again...

Some more beery days from the Xmas calendar, which is serving me a different beer each day.

See the next 3 days with delicious stuff with a bit of Xmas decoration which I stole from the family while they change the look of the house,

Hey Hive Family
and let us travel the world again

The first bottle is a...

VAL-DIEU - a very nice brewery in east Belgium

Val-Dieu

A nice Belgian beer. Yummy!1

Val-Dieu Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in Wallonia in the Berwinne valley near Aubel in the Land of Herve (province of Liège, Belgium).
The complex bouquet immediately grabs you, thanks to its fruity aromas, with touches of banana and zesty orange, alcohol, touches of raisins and other dried fruit. All of this is enriched with a hint of caramel from the caramel malt, which gives a taste not unlike that of sweet syrup.

The Xmas Beer Calendar 2021

as usual, this is a simple DIY project from my family.

Just a huge box from the shopping filled with some rabbit food where we store the beer in a safe way. Than we cut a door into the box, big enough to have a hand searching for the beer. Sometimes SIMPLE even have more fun!
