A photo session with a beer

My friends delivered this to me for Xmas. After a few weeks in my fridge, it was time to free the beer and as the cover looked so nice - we did a photo session.

As I don't know anything about the beer and the brewery, here are the results from my research.

Tits Belgian beer

A beer made by Belgians with my style of humor.

About the brewery

L&G Brewers - Brasserie Tits, located in Pepinster, Wallonie, Belgium, is a microbrewery that has garnered attention for its unique and artisanal beer offerings. As of now, the brewery has a focus on a signature beer named "TITS," which is a special Belgian beer crafted purely from artisanal methods. This beer is made from two types of malt, barley and wheat, and its flavor is enhanced with three different hops. This combination promises a beer that invites drinkers to dive into its roundness and fervor

Beer for good

The Tits brewery stems from a friendship between Guillaume and Laurent.

These two enthusiasts decided to start brewing their beer 5 years ago and their project came to fruition about a year ago.

Their beer, Tits, is brewed with 3 different hops, 3 different malts and a little orange which gives it a sought-after and unique taste.

You can taste it in a 20L barrel or in a 33cl bottle in different points of sale in the province of Liège.

The originality of the project? 50% of profits are donated to breast cancer research!

Into the glass

The "TITS - Rondeur et Ardeur" is a standout offering from L&G Brewers - Brasserie Tits, representing the brewery's dedication to traditional Belgian brewing artistry while incorporating a modern twist. This Belgian Tripel is an artisanal beer, which means it emphasizes craftsmanship, quality ingredients, and traditional brewing methods. Here are more details based on the information provided:

The brew

  1. Artisanal Brewing: The beer is crafted using purely artisanal methods, which often involve smaller batches and attention to detail, ensuring each batch's quality and flavor.

  2. Malts: It is brewed from two types of malt: barley and wheat. Barley malt is a staple in beer brewing, offering a rich, malty foundation, while wheat malt adds a lighter, slightly sweet, and sometimes citrusy character to the beer. This combination likely contributes to the beer's complexity and depth of flavor.

  3. Hops: The use of three different hops adds layers of taste, aroma, and bitterness. Hops are essential in brewing for their ability to balance the sweetness of the malt with bitterness, as well as for contributing a range of floral, fruity, or earthy flavors and aromas depending on the varieties used.

  4. Flavor Profile: While specific hop varieties and their contributions to the flavor and aroma profile are not detailed, the mention of "plongez dans sa rondeur et son ardeur" suggests a beer that is both robust and vigorous. This could imply a balance of malty sweetness with hoppy bitterness, potentially offering fruity, spicy, or floral notes typical of Belgian Tripels.

  5. ABV: With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 7.5%, it falls within the expected range for Belgian Tripels, which are known for their strong, warming alcohol presence. This level of alcohol supports a rich flavor profile while also contributing to the overall sensory experience of the beer.

The "TITS - Rondeur et Ardeur" embodies the characteristics of a Belgian Tripel through its use of specific malts and hops, artisanal brewing techniques, and its robust flavor profile, making it a beer worth exploring for those interested in the nuances of Belgian-style brewing.

The Taste

My Tits had a huge head as you see at the pictures.

Dark, cloudy golden yellow with a fine-pored, creamy head. Grassy, fruity aroma. The first sip is surprisingly malty, sweetish, fruity and slowly becomes more bitter as it progresses. Surprisingly mild for a Tripel.
