In Bitola, Friday and Tuesday are market days. Tradition from the past, in those days people from the villages and other smaller towns came to sell their products in the city.
These days, I went through the old bazaar a couple of times, which used to be the soul and the centre of the city. Every other store is closed, and the window says "for rent". This pandemic has hit people’s already shallow pockets. Many moved away, many broke up. And I'm on the verge of reopening my design studio. Really !? Still banging my head against a wall.
