So cool

I am a little over a week into flower with my purple lemonade and purple punch and both of my purple lemonades are showing some really cool looking deep purples.

They don't have much of a smell to them yet, but yesterday I gave them their second feeding of Bembe, which is supposed to enhance the terpenes and increase the smell that the buds give off.

One thing I have learned since I started growing was that the nutrients that you are feeding your plants take about a week or more to have an effect. When I first started growing, I thought that the plants would absorb the nutrients the day that you feed them, but it actually takes a few days for the plants to absorb them through the roots and that watering them consistently after feeding days was how the nutrients were absorbed up into the plant.

It took me almost a year to realize that I was way overfeeding my plants and I think that this is the first grow I have ever had where the plants still have such a lush green color to them this far into their lifecycle.

With my last harvest of 156 grams from a single plant, I think that I am going to be breaking my old record with these ones as well and I could get close to a pound or more from these four plants.

I am excited to see how this harvest goes, because these are the healthiest plants I have ever grown. Growing cannabis is super rewarding and to get better, you must continue to improve your techniques and continue learning. I am grateful for the amazing community we have here on Hive that has taught me so much.
