As you guys know, we rescued some kittens like a week and a half ago. You have already met my little baby Rusty, now it is time to meet his brother Keiichi. Keiichi is much bigger and was a lot healthier than Rusty was when we got them.
@derangedvisionsKeiichi was given to our son and he chose the name. He named him after Keiichi Tsuchiya, who is a Japanese professional race car driver that is known as the Drift King. My son wants works on cars and wants to race and drift when he gets out of school and has his own shop. He even has his own Mazda RX-7 that has a pretty massive engine in it and has about 450 horsepower that he is going to be using as a drift car when he is done putting a roll cage in it.
@derangedvisionsSo for these shots, I was just using window light that was coming in as the sun was coming up. The lighting set up was super easy and it ended up looking like a mini studio shoot because the light was diffused from our drapes, so it wasn't a harsh light and I had my wife keep Keiichi in a certain area that the light was shining in so that he was being illuminated while the rest of the scene wasn't.
@derangedvisionsI wasn't going to include this shot because the focus missed as he flew up in the air, but I wanted to include it because this is the shot I was trying to get the whole time, but in focus. It would have been a pretty epic shot had it been in focus, but it still turned out kind of cool even though it is blurry.
@derangedvisionsKeiichi is a super playful cat, but somewhat of a bully to Rusty when he is playing. We always have to keep an eye on him to make sure he isn't getting too rough with him. They are still best friends though and usually spend the night cuddling together.
@derangedvisionsI hope you all enjoyed meeting Keiichi and the mini studio shots of him playing. There will be more shots of him and Rusty in the future.
