Buy the Dip!!!

While there are some people that are scared that the price of Hive is sitting at 10.2 cents right now, I am happy because I am in the process of stocking up and trying to build up my stake. My goals for Steem at the beginning of the year was to have 50k Steem Power, but with the recent activity of the Steem Blockchain, it has forced me to change my goals and to focus most of my investing into Hive for the foreseeable future.

I am still going to be leaving funds in my Steem account for the purpose of curating the community there, as I think that there could be a future there still if things change a bit, but with the censorship and freezing of random accounts for malicious purposes, I don't feel that is going to be good for that blockchain in general.

So my goals of reaching 50k Hive power are going to be a lot more achievable. I may even be able to reach that goal in the coming weeks. For me, I have found that @blocktrades is still the easiest way to get Hive. Even after the Blocktrades account was frozen on Steem and they were forced to remove the Steem to Hive trading pair, I am just sending my Steem out to Binance and selling it for ETH, then sending the ETH straight back to Blocktrades and having it automatically converted for Hive. I am sure there are some fees in there, but every exchange has fees in it, that is how the exchanges operate. I am just not a fan of opening new exchange accounts, so I stick to the exchanges that I am familiar with and already have accounts with.

This whole post is not financial advice, but I for one am not going to be kicking myself in a few months when all of the power down shenanigans on both sides are done with and the heavy price manipulation is over and prices begin to stabilize and I wish that I would have picked up more of this cheap Hive to increase my stake early on. Everyone wishes that they were able to get in early, and this is the chance.
