This is where we last left Senua. You can check out my first post titled Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - somewhat of a review where I detail the events that got us here. I had a great time with that post, that I thought I would continue with writing about this game and detailing the adventure since there are people in the community that aren't going to be able to play this game that may be interested in following the story.
Like I had said in the previous post, this is a visual masterpiece and it is a very story driven game. The cutscenes flow seamlessly into the game play so there is never really a wasted second that takes you out of the story.
Instead of doing a lot of screenshots and writing about what is going on in the game, I decided that I am going to show you this time by recording the game play and making a series of videos so you can actually see how amazing everything is. After you begin your journey towards the bridge leading to Helheim, this is where this story below starts...
After Senua defeats the enemies on the bridge, she opens a door to find another one that is locked with some magical runes. You have to solve a series of puzzles and find the runes out in the environment to unlock the door, which then leads you out to another long section of the bridge.
As you make your way across this section, you can tell that something ominous is in the works for Senua because the weather is starting to turn pretty bad and the voices in her head start getting louder.
Then something comes big comes in and its entrance knocks Senua back. I thought I was in for an epic fight at this point, but instead I was in for some more masterful story telling, which you can see here...
With her sword now in pieces, Senua must now collect the shards of Gramr, which is the legendary sword the was forged by Odin himself and is said to be able to kill gods. Is this the sword that she must use to finally kill Hela? Follow me for the next chapters in this epic saga of Hellblade - Senua's Sacrifice.
Thank you all for the comments and concern in my post yesterday about my wife's visit to the ER. She was discharged from the hospital late yesterday afternoon with kidney stones, and infection and "possible" appendix issues. They doctors weren't the most help in determining anything about the appendix.
The pain continued all night and then into this morning, so she returned to the hospital where they ran more tests and told her it wasn't her appendix and then discharged her again. So hopefully everything works itself out and it is nothing serious. The concern from the community is greatly appreciated though. You are all awesome.
