Time for a change

The time has come for my family and I to move out of Utah and head up to Oregon. We have been talking with a realtor here to get our home sold and it is about to get crazy busy over this next couple weeks.

We have to get our home ready for staging and for an open house. It is going to be a lot of work to get things more organized and ready. We had a dumpster dropped off at the house just a little bit ago and my daughter and I will be clearing out all of the clutter and random crap that has been collecting in the garage over the years we have been here.

We are going to be as busy as these bees trying to get things accomplished. We are super excited about the area of Oregon we will be moving to. It is right outside of Crater Lake.

This was an image I took of Crater Lake when we visited there a few years ago. Oregon is so full of awesome landscapes and I can't wait to get there and start getting some more landscape shots. I have not been much of a landscape photographer, but I am hoping that this move will change that and I can get more skilled at it.

This move is going to be a fresh start for us. My daughter has had it pretty rough over the past few years and this is going to be good for her. We have some pretty close friends there that we are looking forward to being around more and building up a better relationship with them.

One thing that does suck about moving is that I have had to get rid of my growing operation for now and I threw out the plants that I had just started. Luckily Oregon is a state with legal recreational cannabis use, so I will be able to be more open about my growing activities. I will also have a lot more access to growers in the area and better tools to be able to grow some really top shelf cannabis.

So as we begin to close this door of our lives here, so many new doors will be opening as we move. This is a pretty exciting and stressful time, but I am looking forward to our new future.
