I am a bowling champ

Today my daughter and I went out on a daddy/daughter date. I took her to a bowling alley that just reopened. We got some food and then played a few games of bowling.

The last time I went bowling was in Thailand during Steemfest. I was a bit rusty at it, but I wasn't going to let my daughter beat me. I got a lot of gutter balls during the first game, and I actually contemplated having bumpers for my lane.

I ended up winning the first game 97 to 43 and I almost got a turkey. 97 is still a pretty crappy score, but being rusty and not bowling forever will do that to you, or at least that's what I tell myself.

My daughter started to warm up as well and got a few strikes and a lot of spares during the rest of the games. I almost got another turkey, but I always mess up while going for that third strike in a row.

My top score for the day was 123 points, which wasn't too bad for me. I am no pro bowler and only go once a year or so, so I think that is a decent score.

After we got back from bowling, we chilled on the couch and watched Outer Banks on Netflix, which is her favorite show right now. Rusty cuddled with me while we watched the show and it was an awesome day.

Now it is time to get dinner ready, so I need to figure something out for all of us to eat. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my post. You are awesome.
