Tuesdays, according to the man of the moment, @ablaze:
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
That is the ‘jist’. So, I will be sharing three tunes that I immensely appreciate. You can participate too. Just follow the rules outlined in his post from last week Here.
Now, we all agree that music is an infinite connection of passion and soul. For this Tuesday, I want to present three tunes that kept me company while I was locked up in my room, writing school work.
This is three hours long and just perfect to work without distractions. I dedicate two hours max to my project daily and this instrumental is just the best for the situation.
Even when reading or doing a mental exercise, which I happen to do frequently lately, it’s perfect. It even helps in slumber. You know that saying that the mind is never asleep? I do mental exercises everyday and mostly before I go to bed. This song playing in the background just helps.
If you like to meditate, this is the perfect theme.
I honestly don’t know what language that is in the chorus. Enya’s songs possess out-worldly elements. Her voice, the lyrics, the flow…
She’s like a water bender. Graceful and enigmatic; dangerous and wild! This song of hers also plays when I’m taken by work. If you happen to enjoy soulful, thrilling and eccentric music, this is just for you.
The lyrics alone are like twisted vines woven on a candle stick. Strange yet totally welcoming.
This song has honestly been on repeat especially when I am done with the days’ work. I dance alone in my room, congratulating myself and giving me a pat on the back. The cool jam is just my vibe,
‘Yellow and Mellow’.
I listen to the original though but I share this version with Selena Gomez because my guy (who happens to be my namesake) is number one trending in India! Nigerian music is infiltrating places. It is just a matter of time I tell you.
And below is the original version if you want to see it…
And that sums up todays’ TTT post from me. I hope you enjoyed it and feel free to share yours too.
