If I understand correctly, a novice like me can send my money into VOO and let it appreciate? Like HBD savings? (forgive me my ignorance but I’m asking cause I’m interested).

I have never traded in my life and I would always prefer a safe option. I didn’t t understand most of the terms here but I think I understood the “chill”.

So, am I right on this one?
