Today has been one hell of a weekend. I did look forward to it from the start of the week but not because I'm stressed or anything, mostly because I had no idea what I'd be doing.

The days seem to be running so fast that a cheetah might be scared of being thrown two weeks into the future. I was reading this post by ifarmgirl@ifarmgirl and it felt like she was just relaying what I experience from time to time.

I do not know if I have had a slow day in a while since my days are always filled with one activity or the other. Of course, the days seem to zap by the most when I am on Hive or reading a book. I have had to distress a lot and that mostly happens with books and some silly stuff just happening in the confines of my walls - which is mostly sleep.

I woke up today feeling a bit nostalgic and off weather. The best distraction for my mind when it seems to be in utter chaos is work or something within that department. So what do I do? I work.

I started with house chores, moved on to doing some errands and making some designs for people who asked for them, fulfilling duties at the place I am currently receiving training (I did this from home of course - it's supposed to be my day off) and then I promised to go shopping against LPUD coming in 3 days, but my body decided it wanted rest. So I fell asleep.

When I woke up, which was a few hours ago, I realized that once again, the day seemed to just rush by. I won't lie and say this isn't concerning because it feels like each day that passes is a step closer to that life changing moment which I really want to be ready for when it happens.

I asked myself while making breakfast earlier in the day (brunch rather) why I never seem to have a slow day. You know those days where you just keep staring at the clock, urging those hours to rush by? It hasn't happened in a while. In fact, my hours don't seem enough anymore. A friend said it is because I am disciplined and time conscious. I don't know. I think I need a break.

With this in mind, I and my long time friend, who is on Hive as well but had to take some time off due to certain issues, decided to leave our city to celebrate after graduation. I'll be graduating in a few months and I am just grateful to God and every one who has encouraged me thus far. We are going to be leaving for a while (take a couple of days away from this fast living ~ NF) and maybe the clock will slow down once again.
