In my post 2 days ago, I mentioned how 2022 was the most eventful year of my life so far because of how much activity it’s been packed with. For most if the things that happened, I didn’t plan them. I’m not really an organized person. I’m spontaneous so I don’t plan much. Everything just falls into place.
I didn’t begin this year (or any year ever) with any sort of plans for my life. I’m honestly surprised how far I’ve come living a completely spontaneous life.
How do I say I’ve made any achievements then if I didn’t even have any goals to begin with?
I pretty much have known one thing my entire life and that is to keep going and never give up until I’m where I want to be. And even though I’ve never clearly outlined I’m going to do X, Y or Z to get there, I’ve always had the path at the back of my mind.
But like I said, even though I had no clear plans starting the year, it ended on a good note for the most part and I have many things to be happy and grateful for. Most of the things that happened to me this year are things to look at from a point of lament, but regardless, I still celebrate the few of my success stories.
Finishing University
This might just be the best thing that happened to me this year considering academics! I wrapped up my four year Bsc Biochemistry degree in October this year and currently doing my national service.
I’m honestly just happy I came out of University with not too bad grades (lol) and that I’m done with the stress that comes with it. Although, I’ve been told by a few of my Hive friends here who are older than I am and much more experienced that this stage is actually the tough part. Life after school, searching for job, facing life by yourself.
Regardless though, I’m happy about getting that Bsc Biochemistry degree!
I met an amazing girl
It’s difficult for me to meet people that match my energy and sense of humor. Jokes lose their value when you have to explain then and I’m one of those people who consider humor an essential part of conversation. Problem is, not many people have a sense of humor. Not a good sense of humor anyways.
The lack of a good sense of humor makes it difficult for me to connect with people. Even if not in friends, I consider a good sense of humor an important quality when looking for a partner. It’ll suck to have to explain your jokes to a partner for an entire life time.
Anyways, this year, I was lucky enough to meet the most amazing girl ever to match my energy. She’s a perfect blend of everything important I want in a partner. For me, that rarely happens because I’m so picky so I’m really happy about this for myself.
Put some meters between me and my inevitable bankruptcy I faced at the start of the year.
This obviously is not to say that I’m rich now, but that I at least have a source of income and things are looking a bit brighter than they did at the start if the year.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know what happened and so understand that where I am now is actually a place to celebrate!
Neoxian City Game Master
Now this one, this one, you could consider the most recent thing to be hyped about because it happened just today.
But like I already said, I didn’t plan it because I’m a spontaneous person and my idea are inspired by things happening in the present.
Anyways today somewhere in the early evening around 4pm, I identified a problem to which I could be of service to Mr Dragon and the neoxian city and I messaged him with my proposed solution. It took some bit of detailing until Mr Dragon finally agreed to give me the job.
I’m now the Game Master for the City of Neoxian and we’ll have our first Game this weekend. I’ll make an announcement of the details of the game tomorrow so you haven’t missed out on it yet.😁
It’s not yet a certain thing yet as the sustainability of the job will depend on how fun, interesting and engaging it gets. So come play with us this weekend in the Neoxian City Discord!
PS: I wrote this post yesterday so everywhere you see “today” was actually yesterday. I want to keep the post how I wrote it for a few personal reasons so sorry I gave you this extra detail that you didn’t need to know:)
