I hear you. Sometimes life's trials just feel like they are relentless and neverending... but well done for hanging in there and getting your next door property done, in spite of it all.

Of course, I am sometimes my own worst enemy because I let small things slide and then "negatively hallucinate" them till they become a huge production to get right.

Your tomato plant also resonates... we had a couple of things like that here. One was some volunteer potatoes that suddenly showed up in the herb bed, so we dug them up and half-heartedly replanted them in a piece of free land. Supposedly, you "can't" transplant potatoes, but in mid-September we suddenly ended up with 3lbs of homegrown potatoes. We also transplanted some fully matured tomato plants (another no-no) but they didn't seem to suffer adverse effects aside from bearing a couple of weeks later than their counterparts.

Somehow, nature — and that seems to include us humans — finds a way to sustain life.
