It's an interesting and amazing place!

It has been so long, but if you stand up there and look towards the nearby town of Street, you would be able to see where I went to boarding school in 1976-78... we could stand out by the chapel next to my boarding house and see the Tor quite clearly, maybe 4km away. Of course, I was too young to appreciate its significance back then... but I do remember being up there once when there was a low-lying fog and it was literally an "island" above the fog, with no land visible till the Mendip Hills.
