Thanks for your kind words @nickydee! Seems like you have managed to establish yourself pretty well and "get seen" within the month or so you've been part of the community.

Whereas I recognize that these are "tough times" for a lot of people, I do believe we still have to take on whatever endeavors we get into with a sense of realism.

Writing is not a way to make money, for sure! I've been learning that since my first article submission... geeze, dating myself here,.. 44 years ago. And therein lies, perhaps, part of the secret to Hive: Be here because of what this place IS (a social content site) not because you're looking for riches.

I doubt Hive will every be more than a niche venue. Could be a sizable niche venue... even 10 million active users would be a big deal. Even though there are "short form" entry points to Hive like HiveBuzz, LikeTu and LeoFinance's under development "Project Blank", this is not a twitter or an Instagram type venue. And if financial gain is your aspiration, thinking that posting 50 shots of your lunch taco will earn you the down payment on a Lambo is just nuts!

I like this place. And plan to continue here, in the long haul.

And my Hive wallet has a LOT more in it than my Facebook wallet...🤣🙃
