Yeah, I totally relate... when it comes to detecting people's personal agendas in office politics and corporate politics that actually are destroying the organization for the benefit of some individual... I spend a lot of time standing there, scratching my head.

Particularly ego-based situations where people are willing to actually lose everything they have worked really hard for just to save face. I still tend to look at stuff like that and think of it as a form of sociopathy... but evidently it is more aptly filed under being human.

Not sure I want to be associated with that particular tribe!

Indeed, being slow has many different manifestations...
