As an individual, not really interested... and I pretty much have always sucked at twitter, even though my account is quite old, from near the start.

As a promotional tool for one of my businesses? I might be willing to do that, but it would be contingent of being able to determine tangible returns. In that case, it just fits under "advertising expense."

And therein — perhaps — we see a glimpse of the future of twitter: Nothing but a giant whirlpool of advertising, and not at all any kind of free speech platform...
