I bought gas from the Safeway fuel stop here in Port Townsend a couple of days ago... for $1.44 a gallon. Which was eye-opening, in its own way.

But more than that, I realized that I hadn't actually filled the tank since sometime back in February. That was more eye opening. We usually fill up about every 2-3 weeks, just in terms of normal usage.
