I keep trying to be more structured in my approach, but I increasingly think the takeaway here is that it's an exercise in futility to try to go against our natural rhythms... whatever they may be.
For some people, there is great comfort in doing a little bit of exactly the same thing, every single day.
I treat our yard in much the same way you clean house. I can turn it into a manicured park in an incredibly short time... and then I suddenly hate yardwork for a couple of weeks...
