I like this initiative... with all the attention Hive has been getting in the news, it really becomes OUR task now to create the sort of community that makes people looking in from the outside really want to become part of.
And engagement is essential! After all, who wants to post something worthy, only to hear the sound of crickets chirping? I'm glad you mentioned @abh12345's Hive Engagement League... for those who need a little extra motivation, it a really excellent group, highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get active with Hive.
I do most of the above things automatically anyway but it's good to have a checklist/reminder.
One of the things (or "fringe benefits") of really getting onboard with engagement and letting the external world know... is that we might also be able to draw back in some of the old-time creators from Steem who more or less "quit in disgust." Who knows, if we show that there's a vibrant community here, maybe they'll want to get back onboard!
Speaking of what we're doing here @anomadsoul, is #promohive a tag much used for site publicity... seems intuitively "right," somehow...
