Yeah @owasco, I'm pretty much an "Olde Pharte!"

It is a strange dichotomy, really... it seems like "the more connected we become, the LESS connected we are." People cease to be people and just become profiles on the screen. And yet there's a real living breathing person behind every set of words (bots notwithstanding!), and that bears remembering. People's posts are more than "just posts," often they are snapshots of little moments of their lives, and the human thing (and part of why I remain active here) is to occasionally follow up with these people we've wandered around for several years and just sending them a quick "So how did that ____ situation work out for you?" just as a reminder that we actually read the message, not just clicked the upvote button like automatons.
