RE: 52-Week "Authentic Self" Writing Challenge: Episode 01 — "Roadblocks"
It's an interesting concept; and it is designed to dig around in your weaknesses... or perceived weaknesses... that may only be so because you've agreed to let yourself be told that they are, in fact,

RE: 52-Week "Authentic Self" Writing Challenge: Episode 01 — "Roadblocks"
I am not sure where you are reading your content @xplosive but I find lots of posts that have 10-15 comments generated by "real" human beings. But sure, I get my share of bot comments, as well.

Asking the right questions is always tricky, agreed. And just reaching the point where you know which ones they are... tend to be the "answer," in its own way. Hope your *"thing" goes

RE: Evening Musings: The Power of Perseverance and “Making Yourself” Care
I'm in alignment with that. I prefer my comfort zone... within which I may be challenged, and many people mystified, and I can keep an appreciation for life. Of course, if I were in the business of selling

RE: Reflection: Sometimes the Tanks are Just Empty
Ah yes, the vaccine side effects do seem to kick quick a few people in the butt; I haven't had it, but I know plenty who have and have struggled. It's funny — and sad — that we seem to live in a world

RE: Treasure hunting for gold and other lost treasures on Wolfe Lake, Ontario 🇨🇦
Black sand tends to be a good sign. Last time we were out at the Pacific coast I came across a couple of "beach miners" who had their sluices set up and were collecting buckets of black sand

RE: Why is the price of POB so low?
Aside from the fact that a lot of people flow into new projects purely to "profit from the excitement of a new thing," I'm guessing some people have been put off by recent POB "drama"

I believe the first downvote was cast when Øgg the caveman pounded his cavemate Bløgg over the head with a log after he tried to scratch the likeness of a penis on the cave wall. Millennia later... and

RE: Downvoting Proposal on POB - Why I vote No to the Proposal
Some of your reasoning definitely rings true, and you touch on one of the issues I have with it all: Most people don't have "autonomous" accounts for each tribe they belong to... which creates

RE: SUP Sunday
I've long thought this looks like a good way to be on the water. Haven't tried it, though; we live on the coast and the sea is usually with too many waves and wind to make it easy to stand up when you're

RE: Money and Finance: You’re Pre-Approved! (To be Forever Caught in the Debt Trap)
Yeah, "rewards" type cards can be really good for business use if you charge a bunch of expenses and always pay them off.

It's nice to have as a backup, but I try not to use credit to buy anything, ever. We do use them for travel because you sort of need to, to reserve rental cars and such. Cash back cards can be really nice,

RE: Money and Finance: You’re Pre-Approved! (To be Forever Caught in the Debt Trap)
It's pretty insane! And I imagine it's about to get worse because a lot of the suspension of late fees, collections, evictions and foreclosures just ended on June 30th. We keep cards for travel because

RE: Money and Finance: You’re Pre-Approved! (To be Forever Caught in the Debt Trap)
Congratulations Karen, very well done! It's tricky to navigate life here in the USA without credit... so our plan is not to actually borrow, but just to use the cards sparingly and pay them off, so it

RE: AskLeo - Where Do You See Hive In Ten Years From Now?
Ten years? In a way, you're speaking "my language" here @acesontop, as I tend to have a very long term perspective on projects. When thinking about Hive in 10 years, I consider the fact that

A large part of the attraction of doing this is that when I do engage in exploratory writing or journaling, I tend to answer the questions I want to explore, more than the ones I need to explore. Having

Yup, water bills. Lot more than in NZ... currently we pay US $299 per quarter, and that's "cheaper" because we're not inside the city limits where there's also a sewage fee. The thing that mostly
