Feliz noche amigos de Hive está noche quiero mostrarles el paso a paso de una torta que hice el fin de semana para unos quince años. Pero lo particular de esta torta es que mi amiga decidió que la torta en su mayoría era falsa. Solo la torta de arriba era una torta real. Las otras dos eran de anime. Y es la primera vez que hacía algo así y para ser sincera tenía un poco de miedo de que algo saliera mal.
Good evening, Hive friends! Tonight, I want to show you the step by step process of a cake I made over the weekend for a quinceañera celebration. What made this cake unique, however, was that my friend decided most of it should be a dummy cake; only the top tier was real, while the other two were made of Styrofoam. It was my first time doing something like this, and to be honest, I was a little afraid something might go wrong.
Al llegar a casa de mi amiga lo primero que hice fue organizar las tortas faltas, pegarlas en los platos de torta y armar una especie de cilindro con unas pequeñas esferas y luces. Todo en teoría estaba perfecto pero aún así yo tenía miedo. Todo lo que hacemos por primera vez da un poco de miedo, pero aún así confiando en el proceso.
When I arrived at my friend's house, the first thing I did was arrange the cake layers, secure them onto the cake boards, and assemble a sort of cylinder using small spheres and lights. In theory, everything was perfect, yet I was still afraid. Anything done for the first time is a bit scary, but I trusted the process nonetheless.
Luego de arreglar un poco la estructura de la torta falsa, comencé a batir la crema Chantilly con la cual decorariamos las tortas falsas. Necesitaba preparar una crema Chantilly un poco sobre batida para que le aportará firmeza a estas tortas. Luego venía la hora de pintar las tortas con un aerógrafo manual y aquí vino nuestro primer inconveniente y es que el aerógrafo que compro mi amiga no estaba funcionando.
After adjusting the structure of the faux cake a bit, I started whipping the Chantilly cream we would use to decorate it. I needed to whip the cream slightly more than usual to ensure the cakes would be firm. Next came the time to paint the cakes using a manual airbrush, and that’s when we ran into our first problem: the airbrush my friend had bought wasn't working.
Cómo pude fui colocando la escarcha en las tortas ya que el aerógrafo no funcionó. También fui pegando y fijando todo para que está torta no se moviera y quedará bien a la hora de dejarla en el lugar de los quince años.
I managed to apply the glitter to the cakes as best I could, since the airbrush didn't work. I also glued and secured everything in place so the cake wouldn't shift and would look perfect when I delivered it to the quinceañera venue.
Por último decore con Chantilly la última torta que está era la única torta real de esta torta que hice y la verdad es que era una torta de 15 cm rellena con arequipe y cubierta con Chantilly blanca.
Finally, I decorated the last cake with Chantilly cream this was the only actual cake in the creation it was a 15 cm cake filled with arequipe and covered in white Chantilly cream.
Y este fue el resultado final de la torta y todos quedaron encantados con esta torta y por supuesto yo también.
