La vida de un emprendedor. Acompáñame a hacer una torta en poco tiempo. [ESP-ENG]

Feliz noche amigos de Be entrepreneur está noche quiero compartir una anécdota de ser emprendedora y de que a veces no todo sale como lo planeamos. En Instagram tengo una cuenta como @denissecakes95 y una chica me contacto para pedirme una torta red velvet, solo que me contacto en la noche y la quería para el día siguiente, me tomo desprevenida porque no tenía todos los ingredientes para preparar pero le dije que si se la haría y le di el precio de la torta. Así que al día siguiente me debía levantar muy temprano para ir al centro de la isla y comprar lo que me hacía falta para hacer la torta y sobre todo hacer todo bastante rápido para tener la torta a tiempo. En mi emprendimiento tenemos la opción de torta express, claro casi siempre es de vainilla y merengue italiano que esto siempre tengo en casa y es más fácil a la hora de prepararla.

On Instagram I have an account like @denissecakes95 and a girl contacted me to ask me for a red velvet cake, only she contacted me at night and wanted it for the next day, I was taken by surprise because I didn't have all the ingredients to prepare but I told her that if I would do it and I gave him the price of the cake. So the next day I had to get up very early to go to the center of the island and buy what I needed to make the cake and above all do everything quickly enough to have the cake on time. In my venture we have the option of express cake, of course it is almost always vanilla and Italian meringue that I always have at home and it is easier when preparing it.

Así que me levanté temprano y llegué al centro a comprar las cosas que necesitaba, ya que la mayoría de las cosas que necesitaba estaban en una sola tienda, que es la tienda de repostería. En esta compré la mantequilla bien sal, la nevazucar, el colorante rojo, el plato donde va la torta y también hay tenía planeado comprar el queso crema pero no tenían. Así que debía caminar y buscar en otras tiendas lo que me faltaba.

So I got up early and went to the center to buy the things I needed, since most of the things I needed were in one store, which is the confectionery store. In this one I bought the well-salted butter, the nevazucar, the red coloring, the plate where the cake goes and there was also a plan to buy the cream cheese but they didn't have it. So I had to walk and look in other stores for what I was missing.

En otra tienda compré la mantequilla, la azúcar, la leche, la harina de trigo y seguí en búsqueda del queso crema que era lo único que me faltaba de la lista. A tanto caminar encontre el queso crema pero la verdad es que me pareció caro ya que el precio fue del doble de lo que coloque en mi lista pero realmente lo necesitaba y tuve que comprarlo. Siento que vendí está torta bastante económica ya que tenía tiempo que no la hacía y gaste un poco más de lo que pensé en los ingredientes pero bueno mi mamá siempre dice que perdiendo también se gana y realmente es así.

In another store I bought butter, sugar, milk, wheat flour and continued in search of cream cheese, which was the only thing missing from the list. After so much walking I found the cream cheese but the truth is that it seemed expensive to me since the price was double what I put on my list but I really needed it and I had to buy it. I feel that I sold this quite cheap cake since I hadn't made it for a long time and I spent a little more than I thought on the ingredients but well my mom always says that losing is also winning and it really is like that.

Entre buscar todos los materiales y llegar a casa eran las 11 de la mañana así que llegue súper rápido y pese todo muy bien para hacer la mezcla de la torta red velvet y como pueden ver es una mezcla bastante roja, está torta la verdad es muy deliciosa y me encanta aunque tenía bastante tiempo sin hacerla.

Between looking for all the materials and getting home it was 11 in the morning so I got there super fast and weighed everything very well to make the red velvet cake mix and as you can see it is quite a red mix, this cake is really very delicious and I love it even though I hadn't made it for a long time.

Cuando la torta estuvo lista espere que se enfriara y la corte por la mitad para poder rellenarla, la verdad que amo la receta de esta torta y el color que tiene está torta es realmente hermoso y rojo.

When the cake was ready, I waited for it to cool down and cut it in half to be able to fill it, the truth is that I love the recipe for this cake and the color that this cake has is really beautiful and red.

Mientras la torta se enfría un poco más prepare el relleno de esta torta que es con mantequilla sin sal, nevazucar y el queso crema y un poco de vainilla. No demasiados ingredientes pero es realmente deliciosa está crema y queda también con esta torta.

While the cake cools down a little more, prepare the filling for this cake, which is made with unsalted butter, frosted sugar, cream cheese and a little vanilla. Not too many ingredients but this cream is really delicious and it also goes well with this cake.

Rellene la torta con esta crema y tuve que preparar un poco de crema de mantequilla para cubrir la torta. Pensé que la crema que había preparado antes me iba a alcanzar para cubrir la torta pero no así que tuve que preparar más crema.

I filled the cake with this cream and I had to prepare some buttercream to cover the cake. I thought that the cream that I had prepared before was going to be enough to cover the cake but it wasn't so I had to prepare more cream.

Y este fue el resultado final. La verdad que ame como quedó está torta y mi clienta quedó muy feliz. A pesar de que no tuve demasiado tiempo hice un buen trabajo y ame el resultado de esta torta, salir de nuestra zona de confort muchas veces da miedo pero con resultados como este es maravilloso tomar estos riesgos.

And this was the end result. The truth is that I loved how this cake turned out and my client was very happy. Even though I didn't have much time, I did a good job and I loved the result of this cake. Leaving our comfort zone is often scary, but with results like this it's wonderful to take these risks.

Me tomé una foto con la torta antes de entregarla. Vaya que fue un día bastante movido pero que fue muy provechoso, ya se el costo que debe tener esta torta por si la vuelven a pedir una que solamente en el queso crema gaste 5$, la mantequilla sin sal vale 3.50$ medio kilo y la nevazucar un valor de 4$ y a veces los clientes se quejan del precio sin saber todo lo que se gasta. A mí particularmente me gusta comprar materiales de calidad a la hora de preparar las tortas.

I took a photo with the cake before delivering it. Wow, it was a busy day but it was very profitable, I know how much this cake must have in case someone asks for it again, one that only spends $5 on cream cheese, unsalted butter is worth $3.50 half a kilo and frosting worth $4 and sometimes customers complain about the price without knowing how much is spent. I particularly like to buy quality materials when preparing the cakes.
