Feliz noche amigos de Lifestyle estás fotos tienen más de un mes, pero solo hasta hoy pude sentarme y escribir este post. Este post es un post lleno de agradecimiento a mi querida amiga @floreudys79 y a todas las personas que deciden donar sangre. Tal vez no vemos lo importante de algunas cosas hasta que nos toca pasar por momentos difíciles. Como ha sido todo lo que estamos viviendo con mi mamá y sin lugar a dudas todas las personas que donan sangre salvan vidas. Son superhéroes sin capa pero con un gran corazón.

Good evening, Lifestyle friends! These photos are over a month old, but only today was I able to sit down and write this post. This post is full of gratitude to my dear friend @floreudys79 and to all the people who decide to donate blood. Perhaps we don't see the importance of some things until we have to go through difficult times, like everything we've been experiencing with my mom. Without a doubt, all the people who donate blood save lives. They are superheroes without capes, but with huge hearts.

Hasta el día de hoy mi mamá ha recibido un total de 8 transfusiones de sangre, ha sido un camino difícil pero aún así, aquí seguimos en busca de su mejoría. Y en este camino hemos tenido muchas personas que nos han brindado la ayuda necesaria para que su salud mejore. Este día me levanté bien temprano pues tenía que estar en el hospital temprano pues las personas que iban a donar se debían anotar en una lista y someterse a una pequeña prueba para saber si podían donar sangre o no.

To this day, my mother has received a total of 8 blood transfusions. It has been a difficult journey, but we are still here, striving for her improvement. Along the way, we have had many people who have given us the necessary help for her health to improve. Today I woke up very early because I had to be at the hospital early, as those who were going to donate had to sign up on a list and undergo a short test to determine if they could donate blood.

Llegué bastante temprano con un vecino que se ofreció a donar, lo anotaron en una lista y yo entregué las bolsas que piden para colocar la sangre, la enfermera que nos atendió fue muy amable y nos brindo la información necesaria, ya que el señor siempre dona sangre pero está próximo a cumplir 60 años y ya no podrá seguir donando sangre.

I arrived quite early with a neighbor who offered to donate. They put him on a list, and I handed over the bags they require for the blood. The nurse who attended us was very kind and gave us the necessary information, since the gentleman always donates blood but is about to turn 60 and will no longer be able to donate.

El señor fue uno de los primeros que llamaron para hacer un pequeño pinchazo en su dedo y verificar su tipo de sangre, en cuanto tiene la hemoglobina y el hematocrito y así ver si está listo para donar sangre. Luego de esto nos sentamos fuera de el área de donación y el señor desayuno. Muchas personas creen que no pueden desayunar pero si se puede. Solo que debe ser un desayuno libre de grasas y que no consuman lácteos.

The gentleman was one of the first called in for a small finger prick to check his blood type, hemoglobin, and hematocrit levels to see if he was eligible to donate blood. After that, we sat outside the donation area, and he had breakfast. Many people think they can't eat breakfast, but they can. It just needs to be a fat-free breakfast, and they shouldn't consume dairy.

Luego llegó mi querida amiga floreudys, lleno un formulario donde preguntan muchas cosas para tratar de tener suficiente información para poder saber que la persona está libre de enfermedades, luego al igual que mi vecino le hicieron la prueba para saber si está acta para donar, entre todo se nos olvidó tomar una foto en la sala de donación pero es un proceso bastante rápido el de donar. Solo se tarda mientras hacen la prueba y dependiendo de cuántas personas haya delante. Si tú qué me lees y crees que puedes donar sangre no dudes en hacerlo. Tu donación de sangre puede ser la esperanza de otra persona. Al inicio de todo esté proceso yo también done sangre y siempre que pueda quiero hacer donación de sangre voluntaria que puede ayudar a salvar una vida.

Then my dear friend Floreudys arrived. She filled out a form with many questions to gather enough information to ensure the person is free of diseases. Then, like my neighbor, she was tested to see if she was eligible to donate. We forgot to take a picture in the donation room, but the process is quite quick. It only takes time while they do the test and depending on how many people are ahead of you. If you, the reader, think you can donate blood, don't hesitate.
