Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening everyone.
I finally wanted to discuss 2 specific apps today on our Steem block chain by the title you know who they are.
So both these products have they're ups and downs. Looking at you esteem.
But also on a good note esteem is the only one out of these 2 apps to actually upvote just normal every day users. Partiko will rarily ever perform this action if you don't have some kind of delegation in with that. Esteem will just upvote for using their platform. Which is by far better for the users who create content in general on that platform. Dtube is the same way sometimes. Mostly dtube doesn't upvote good content just what every they value.
Esteem upload process is also easier to deal with when attempting to upload multiple pictures. I am having no problem using it right now and dropping links for the pictures in it much simpler then partiko.
So why do I have both. Well drop now on I'll be using esteem as my primary uploading app to Steem and partiko as my browsing and upvoting app. Because that's where they both shine. They both aren't great in every area for that simple purpose.
As you can see in partiko everything comes up easily and is easy to work with. Finding post, upvoting, and browsinh. But uploading and inventive to upload are partiko are lacking.
Notifications are way too follow and jump you right where you need to be if there are hundreds of comments. But that's where the features really end. Their point system is nice. But I don't get a benefit from using it besides selling my points for more Steem. Beyond that partiko advised me in the app that the best way to get points is to go to introduce yourself post and greet people. Which I feel would just be copy paste spam to gather points. That neither greets people to the platform or incentives people to talk to one another and create fans bases.
But they do have a nice messaging prob of their app. So I guess another good job there.
But in conclusion.
Esteem for uploading a post you will most likely get an upvote for just using the platform.
Partiko for browsing reading and leaving comments.
Partiko upvote from months ago rare to get one.
Esteem upvote for just using the platform on this post. Very different.
