[EN/UA] Щастя було рядом, потім йо@нуло снарядом/ Happiness was near then hit by a projectile
Rainy, three or even almost four days we had rains. I was very happy about this, probably, every fisherman rejoices in the rain, because it means replenishment of water in the rivers. But who would have thought that this would happen! I will write about it all below.
Recently, cruise missiles arrived on one of the large rivers of my city, there were many of them. They say that six, or as much as eight. The hydraulic structures were completely cleared and the water from the river began to move throughout the city. Many crossings and bridges were broken by the current, settlements were flooded. By the way, now there is also a fight against the flooding of the city. The mayor of the city now manages the transfer of water to other channels to replenish those rivers that have almost dried up over time.
Here is the event! A friend tells me that water is flowing, and in it the fish jumps right in the air, you have to see it. The fishermen have gathered and are catching fish with nets. And our local stream became so full that all the reeds were flooded!
I haven't seen it myself yet, because I couldn't go to see it, I was at work. But what a friend told me, so I believe. You see the river in this photo, and then the field and trees? So, the trees are almost half in the water, and the reeds are not visible at all!
And I was so happy about the rain, waiting for the replenishment of water in the river ... If these disabled Russians had not helped. As there is a proverb, "happiness was near, then it was hit by a shell."
And I also had some sad thoughts. Today I was walking down the street looking at this monument. It says "1941-1945. No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten." How should we treat this monument now? People laid down their lives for the peace of all of us, and now the Russians are going crazy and yelling "we can do it again." Well, aren't they handicapped? These are my thoughts today.
