hi hivers! I am sharing you the process of a new animation I did. For this piece, I wanted to create an scene of something like a moon priest, taking elements from surrealism painting.
I will start drawing a rough sketch on Adobe Illustrator. I will be drawing with the mouse. I want to do it with something like a hat with the shape of a crescent moon.

Empezaré a dibujar un boceto en Adobe Illustrator. Estaré dibujando con el mouse. Quiero hacerlo con algo así como un sombrero con forma de luna creciente.
ok, let's add some details. I drew the basic shapes, and now I'm drawing the dress too. I'm using some elements from gothic aesthetics to add an unholy atmosphere to the drawing.

We have the moon priest, now I drew the shrine. I will add in the background a red moon too, to add a feeling that the moon priest is on a ceremony on a special cosmic date, maybe the apocalypse?

Time for Photoshop! now I'm playing with texture brushes to add textures to the moon and the columns.

And now the last step, we are into After Effects animating the scene, adding some motion to the fire and the lights in the background.
