THE MAGIC WORDS...... Growing up as a child, my favourite Tv show was Barney and friends. It was via this show i knew about the magic words and its effects in one's life.
The lyrics of one of the songs of the TV show says it all...
Lets talk about please and thank you
They are called the magic words
If you want nice things to happen,
They are words that should be heard,
Remember please and thank,

Use it in the morning, afternoon and night
Cause its a great way to feel alright.
The magic words are not limited to please and thank you alone.......
We have five magic words;
PLEASE,
EXCUSE ME,
THANK YOU,
I'M SORRY AND
YOU'RE WELCOME.
PLEASE: many people find it difficult to say please when they need a favour from someone, especially when they are superior, this is bad...saying please not only motivates someone to help you but gives that person a craving to do your need. Note: it is always difficult to reject a request with PLEASE.
EXCUSE ME: this word shows how decent you are, we at times we forget to use it. In public places instead of forcing your way through things...say excuse me, it brings out the gentleness in you and promotes your personality.
THANK YOU: Hearing thank you from someone makes you smile and want to help more. Thank you is a form of gratitude and appreciation. It shows you value whatever kind of help rendered to you. Decency and discipline its what you need to always say thank you.
I'M SORRY: this i can say is the best magic word, it turns ones heart around, no matter how hurt you are, the word sorry brings a cooling effect to you, making you forget your pain, if not all but some. Learn to say sorry at all times. Some people abuse this word making its significance less.. we shud say sorry and mean it, also accept apologies(im sorry) when told to us.
YOU'RE WELCOME: shows acknowledgement, and hospitality. When saying you're welcome always smile..it brings out the beauty in the words
