Ah yes, the classics! Books that everyone knows but few have read ... unless under duress:)

Fair play to you for fitting so much in! Garlic does like plenty of sunshine alright. We're in the height of summer here and it's currently 14 degrees and raining, so my poor garlic is looking rather sad.

A hell of a lot of work, but worth it to produce something so beautiful.

I've always been self-employed which meant my income was often unpredictable. During Ireland's financial crash in the 1990s for example, I was unable to pay myself a penny for over six months and I was

I try not to be judgemental, but I do hold everyone to the same standard of integrity, regardless of their background or circumstances. I've never subscribed to the idea that being underprivileged gives

At this point in life I wouldn't even hire myself!:)

No judgement here! I've done more than a few dodgy things to keep afloat:)

Thanks a lot Mr. G @galenkp

I'm so glad I'm finished with it all. I'd have to have banned mobiles from the workplace and that sort of draconian measure wouldn't have sit well with me at all. I had some work done on my roof recently

I'd say we'd have been simpatico about most things, and considering you're a reader, a writer, highly intelligent and often amusing, I'd likely have put you on the payroll immediately. I'm intrigued as

Love the collage. It's right up my alley:). The excerpts from your novel, not so much. I've never had a liking for horror and avoided even the classics such as the Exorcist and those Halloween movies that

Well Mr. G, when have you ever known me to be wrong?!:)

You can fool me anytime babe.

You can thank me next time we meet:)

I very much doubt that. You seem like a real sweetheart to me:)

I think those are two completely different things. Learning not to put your hand on a hot stove is direct experience, or cold hard fact as you said. You don't need to remember it perfectly, analyse it,

I don't believe that our memories are completely reliable recordings of past events or feelings. We don't so much remember our past as much as reconstruct it and that reconstruction is subject to distortion.

I'm old enough now to look back over the past and realise that much of it has been fabricated, so I never judge the future by the past!:)

Fancy titles weren't so common in my day. We called a spade a spade and a binman had not yet become a garbage disposal engineer:)

Hahaha, I'd hire you in a heartbeat babe...along with your cat:)
