The winter of my vacation was warmer than most years and you can clearly see the border where the mountain snow meets the lush green valley.
This is one of the picturesque places we had schnitzel and beer for lunch during the skiing on our vacation.
The air was crystal clear and we had a magnificent view of the Alps.
The village of Hopfgaarten, where we were staying on our vacation.
Like many villages throughout Europe, the town is centered around a beautiful church.
This is the practice slope where I first learned to ski - also a brilliant experience and I will post about that soon.
Looking straight down is pretty scary.
