MY TRIP AND ENJOY THE VIEW OF THE RIVERS IN KRUENG SIMPO, ACEH, INDONESIA
Hello Asean, how are you guys today ?, i hope everyone is OK and still exciting to make a good post.
On this occasion I will try to make a post about my trip while traveling to one of the rivers in the Krueng Simpo area, in Bireuen district, Aceh, Indonesia. this place is very beautiful and the water in the river is very clear and visiting this place during the day while enjoying the river is very pleasant. The journey to this place is a little far from where I am and therefore I will try to share and will show the atmosphere during a visit to this place until I get there.
So let's take a good look.
I started the journey from home to get there at noon, and the whole way the road looked deserted and it made me a little surprised about it.
I went on a trip with my friend and we covered quite a distance, and traveling during the day made us a little overwhelmed because of the scorching hot weather. I don't know why the weather in the past two days has been so hot even though a few days ago it was raining heavily in this area. This of course makes me want to hurry to get there and unwind quickly.
Along the way we also saw a very wide forest view, I occasionally stopped my vehicle and took the time to take pictures of this scene. The uphill road made our position higher than the forests which were slightly below us and this allowed us to see the vast expanse of forest.
The forests here are filled with large and tall plants such as areca nut, coconut, and also other trees that are also large, this is because the livelihoods of the people here are areca and coconut plantations, so it is natural if their lands are filled with betel nut and coconut trees.
The roads here are flanked by forests and cliffs, the roads are also winding and sometimes the road divider is broken and they don't install it anymore and this is a bit dangerous for drivers, especially at night.
Therefore we chose to head there during the day, and we drove very carefully along the road to get to this place.
On the way, we also passed many bridges, and along these bridges we saw a very beautiful view of the river, we also crossed these bridges by slowing down our vehicle so I could take pictures.
Along the road to where I mean, we did have to pass several bridges because this area has many big rivers, and the winding journey to get to my destination sometimes had to cut some parts of the river and that became the reason. this area has many bridges like this.
After crossing several bridges like this, later we also had to cross the most iconic bridge of this place and go straight to our destination.
And this is the most iconic bridge from this place, this bridge is a suspension bridge and the river I mean is approximately one kilometer away from this bridge. This bridge is sometimes used as a place for those who want to take pictures and usually in the afternoon many people want to take pictures on this bridge. When the wind blows, the bridge sways a little, and it scares me a little, because I've only just visited this place, it's only natural that I'm afraid that the bridge will sway a little.
But, according to those who frequent this place, it is a natural thing because this bridge is a bridge that is only tied on both sides, and there is no support in the middle, so this bridge often sways when the wind crosses the river.
Even more frightening, this bridge is used to cross using a motorbike, and those who cross by motorbike will of course make this bridge increase in weight, the thing that scares me from this is if one of the boards collapses, it must be very scary.
After crossing this bridge, we took the time to shop. Incidentally, across the bridge there was a small kiosk that made us stop for a moment to shop and just relax. This kiosk is quite complete, they provide various types of drinks and food, the same as my place. I also took the time to buy snacks and also buy drinks, while resting I felt very thirsty, maybe because the weather was very hot which made us stifling. The rest we bought the small snacks available there such as chips, biscuits, candy, and the like with the aim of making our stomachs growl again.
We ate the food we bought on the street and that helped a little.
And we arrived at our destination today. You can see the scenery and the atmosphere on this river, the scenery here is really very beautiful, and the water is very clear and cold making me wash my face there and instantly my tiredness while on the way disappears.
I also relax on the rocks by the river and enjoy the very comfortable atmosphere. Incidentally these days the hot sun shone on this place, so the river water receded slightly and not too full, this made this river very beautiful during the day.
This river is not very deep, and this allows anyone to bathe in this place without fear of drowning, but if the water is full, we still have the possibility of being carried away by the current and this must be watched out for. However, this time I happened to visit this place at low tide, so I was able to enjoy the view of the river leisurely while sitting among the rocks beside the river.
