Hello! How are you my dear friends around the world? It's a long weekend since this week is the so-called holy week or the celebration of Jesus Christ who died on the cross. A time to reflect on ourselves, pray, go to church, and ask forgiveness for all our sins. It is a yearly celebration and it was declared as a non-working day or a Holiday. We just stayed at home and had our relaxation for while.
While relaxing, I got surprised when I saw different cars, parked under the mango trees near our house. Only to find out that they were the son and daughters of the late Mr. Felipe Demoral, the lot owner of more than 2 hectares lot near our house. They came from the city since all of them were living there and they visited their inherited lot from their parents. They brought good news to us. They wanted to finalize our previous plan to open a private road from the new barangay road going to our house. Our house is not along the highway and the previous plan where barangay road, supposedly would be near our house was not realized because other lot donors did sign the papers. Some lot owners were very greedy knowing the benefits of opening a road. They don't want other people to benefit from the said project.
In my previous blog, I already mentioned having a road right-of-way plan project. This project is no longer a barangay initiative but our initiative because the barangay road that we requested or for a long time ago was realized but no longer near our house which was supposedly the first plan. I remembered that the opening of the new barangay road hurts me because as one of the taxpayers in our community, I can't avail of this govt. the project, which was very important for us. That happen because there was a landowner who did not sign the agreement. For that, we don't have a permanent road right of way going to our house, instead, we traverse the midway of the two hectares lot and create a temporary way so that we can bring our cars near to our house.
During their first visit, we asked them. a favor to provide us a road right of way. It was a coincidence that after they had a lot survey, they found out that there was a portion of land that do not belong to their lot number owned by their parents. Instead, it was owned by my grandfather. Therefore, the portion to be utilized for our private road was my grandfather's lot, not their lot based on the Lot number. So what we did was we conducted our survey to check the border and the correctness of the land markings. As I checked, the planned route proved that it was not their lot but belongs to my grandfather. So, we did not find it difficult to continue or pursue our planned project. As a result, only a small portion of their land will be utilized in the road opening.
After having the final agreement on the mapping of the area and agreement, we started clearing the area even if the papers will soon comply. We need to clear the area the soonest as possible time so that we can now use the agreed road right of way. The old route will soon no longer be accessible. The owner will plan to construct a fence around his lot near the barangay road to protect illegal settlers and illegal parking of v-hire and tricycles.
After clearing, we will look for donors of limestones or anapog to cover or fill in the area for private roads. We planned to tap our barangay officials or municipal officials on this matter. Hoping and praying that they will extend help on this project of ours, to be fully realized soon. That someday you can read the sign Demoral and Ursal Private Road.
That's all for this blog. Thank you and God bless!
